Dear Mr Weather,
I see you have read my last post. Thank you. It was a beautiful day today for a mid March. Nicely done. Of course, I realize that beautiful is a subjective term. In this case beautiful means I have a preference for a day as warm and sunny as today over the snow of Wednesday. This is not to say one is better than the other or in a more objective sense more beautiful. I just prefer your work of today over that of Wednesday. For starters I don't have to shovel warm and sunshine. I went outside sans coat and did so without regret. I saw my first convertible on the road with it's top down. A little too cool for my taste but a teaser of what's to come.
I do miss your work on the trees. The white of the snow really sets them off. But it's snow and will yield to the warm and sun. That's the way of it.
Overall, a fine day and once again, nicely done.
Your friend,
Greg

Dear Mr. Weather,
I must admit, watching the trees outside my second floor office window become painted with snow was wonderful. To sit and watch them go from bare bark to now snow-covered in minutes was a superb display of artistry with the simple tools of water, wind, and temperature. The result was a scene that would have left Currier & Ives cursing their lack of imagination. However, I feel I must point out there are form of climatic splendor that do not involve snow and temperatures below freezing. I respectfully request that we start seeing some of these, soon.
